What We Are About:
Cause of Action exists because the Executive Branch’s discretionary power in spending our dollars, regulating our sources of livelihood, and making choices that shape our country must be limited.
Three principles guide Cause of Action’s educational mission:
- Americans have the right to know about how Washington spends their money.
- Americans deserve an efficient, effective federal government that works for them, not the politically powerful.
- Americans have an interest in living free and prosperous lives without the interference of arbitrary and abusive executive power.
What We Do:
Cause of Action uses investigative, legal and communications tools to educate the public on how government transparency and accountability protects economic opportunity for American taxpayers.
